It may be the case that all of the material in a document is of benefit or that specific sections are of particular use at this time; some of the material may be of use now but other aspects may need to be utilised at some time in the future. Alternatively, it may be appropriate to use one particular section of a document in conjunction with aspects of another. The topics covered by this series have been identified by a combination of PE ITTE providers’ and Training and Development Agency for schools’ audits and Ofsted inspections. Many of the topics are approached generically and the guiding principles should be applicable to HEI/schools partnerships, DRB/GTP schemes, SCITT programmes and Training Schools, and to Primary and Secondary programmes. In saying this, some of the topics relate specific ITTE contexts and if you feel there is a topic that requires a specific slant towards your particular sector, please let us know via the feedback section and we will do our best to respond. New tutors will find specific help for them within the “Induction support for new tutors” section.
