Objectives
Our objective is to reach a wide group of young people, especially those who have been involved in crime and other anti-social activities, and expose them to the variety of opportunities and advice desks available in Grahamstown.
We cannot do this alone. Xolile and Ayanda are already recognised in the community and engage actively with many young people. However, we would like establish broader dialogue and ongoing relationships with those who have a stake in positive community development. We believe that there is a need for mentorship and consistent attentiveness to youth in South Africa in order to shape a positive community culture over the next 10 years away from apartheid brokenness.
To us, development has less to do with money but with mindset and positive community culture. |
